General Information
Office Hours
Our office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Request a Registration Packet
Registration packets can be requested 24 hours per day on-line,
by e-mailing
alexis@hardyhealthcare.com
or by calling the office at 781-740-8300. Be sure to
give your name, mailing address, telephone number, and fax number or
e-mail address if available.
Scheduling an Appointment
- Office consultations: Once a registration packet has been
completed and the $250 deposit has been received, a new patient
appointment will be scheduled.
- Telephone consultations: Telephone consultations can be
arranged once a registration packet has been completed and we
have received the $250 retainer fee (or provided us with credit
card information). Charges for our professional time will be
billed to your credit card on file or deducted from the
retainer. This service is offered as a convenience for
individuals who have to travel long distances to get to the
office. For many it is a very cost effective way of receiving
consultation. Medication will not be prescribed without
the patient being seen in the office.
The Concept of "E-medicine"
E-medicine is an emerging phenomenon that is still in its
infancy. It is somewhat controversial as many argue that one cannot
practice medicine without actually examining the patient, and that
one cannot practice medicine outside of the states in which one is
licensed. We at Hardy Healthcare
Associates, P. C. wholeheartedly agree with this. However, since we
have become so highly sub-specialized in a range of problems that
many around the country and the world cannot readily access, we have
developed a consultative service to provide information to
individuals who cannot travel to our office. We are happy to review
medical records, review video material, and discuss issues by
telephone or e-mail with the individual person, their family
(guardian), or their physicians. We can make recommendations that
would need to be implemented under the supervision of a local
licensed health care provider. Often, once having evaluated a person
in our office, we can prescribe medication or biological therapies
that can be filled in other states. Depending on the nature of the
problem, the person many need to be physically evaluated in our
office only on a semi-annual or annual basis.
